Former Steelers, Volunteers Team Up To Help Disabled Veteran

McDONALD (KDKA) — Home is where the heart is, and volunteers showed up by the dozens in Washington County Saturday to lend a hand for a retired, disabled veteran.

The cause even got some attention from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The volunteers were hard at work in McDonald to help out the wounded warrior.

They were helping former Marine rifleman Brian Beckwith. He was injured in Iraq three years ago when an IED blew up his Humvee.
